Hi,

I am using a software(AD Infinitum) to create 2000
student account on a child domain. When I create new
user manually on child domain abc.def.com, default domain
is set at parent domain until I change it manually using
drop down menu. When I try to create multiple users on
child domain, it creates users on parent domain. Is
there any way to change default domain to child domain

Thanks,

I believe you're referring to the UPN suffix. Just because a user's
UPN suffix is that of the parent domain does *not* mean the account
is being created in that domain.

As far as changing the default, no, you can't. You can, however,
script the addition of the accounts and use any UPN suffix you like
in doing so.

Laure,

Thank you for your reply.
So, if I create user name "test" on childe domain called
abc.def.com and it takes user name (e-mail address removed). Is this
user still belong to abc.drf.com?
