creating multiple slides from multiple images

I have a large number of pictures in jpeg format, Is
there a code or macro that would automatically create a
slide in powerpoint and then insert the picture? It would
seem to me that this would be a generic process for
powerpoint with all the digital camera users out there
that want to convert all the pictures in a batch process.
