I have a small database that sits on a network drive at work which is
accessed by 4 other people at different terminals. I tried to created a
password using the access help (open database exclusively, created password,
magic), but now when I try to access the database from any other terminal,
after entering the password I get an invalid password error, but I can open
it still from my terminal where I created the password. So I'm obviously not
doing it right. I just need a simple way to put a password on the database.
Just one password for the 5 of us to use to access the database but keep
everybody else out.
Thank you.

Maybe you can try creating a new account, which is for public use, and
authorize this new account to the shared database, so in that way each
members can access that database via the account.

What version of Access are you using?
