Someone showed me how to change or create a new keyboard
shortcut, similar to Ctrl+C for copy, but I can't remember
how. I tried searching in Windows 2000, but didn't find
what I was looking for. Do you know how to add keyboard
shortcuts?

Lois

Ctrl+C is an inbuilt shortcut, as is Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V.

You can invoke desktop icons via a keyboard shortcut,
by looking at their Properties (right-click the icon)
and specifying the desired key combination.

Thank you for the response, but I am looking at a way of
changing the keyboard shortcuts. I do know that the
Ctrl+X is built in, but I also know there is a way to
change it if you want to. Like Ctrl+U. My fingers don't
stretch that far and want to change it. Do you know how?

You can re-assign keyboard shortcuts in MS Word but
I doubt whether you can re-assign them in Win2000
itself.

If you belog to the privileged class of people who have
two hands then you can easily do Ctrl+U. Being able
to touch-type helps enormously.
