When I try to reply to an email within a website, it goes into Word but does
not give you the option of sending the email you have created.

Can you help us sort this out??? Or suggest a way around it???

I'm not sure what "replying to an email within a website" means.
Can you elaborate?

If for instance you are on an auction website and you need to send an email
to the seller and they give you an email address eg (e-mail address removed)

When you click on this, it should put you into an email window which it
does, but it does not allow you the option of sending this email once it has
been created .

What email program are you using?
It sounds like when you click on a mailto: link, it opens Word instead of
your email program.
You need to set your email program to take all of the email default
functions.
Start - Default Programs - Set your default programs
highlight your email program, click "Set this program as default"
OK

It would have been helpful if you had revealed what your desired
email method or program is. In addition to what Dave responded,
if your desired email method is Hotmail, you can make it Vista's
default by employing this fix:
