creating drop-down navigation with "jump menu"

I used the "jump menu" behavior to create a navigation bar with drop-down
menus and have 2 problems:
1. the down arrow box is using my Windows default color & I can't find a way
to edit the color.
2. the text in the top menu box is repeated as the first choice in the
drop-down list.

Any suggestions??

1. Unfortunately you can't change the arrow color, only the text color and the background color behind the text.
2. Either switch to code view and add a new option at the top that looks like this:

<option selected>Select a page</option>

Edit "select a page" to suit your needs.

I meant to continue #2
or right click the dropdown box and select Form properties and edit the selections
or add a new value and set it as selected.
