Creating desktop shortcuts

How do you create a desktop shortcut to an internet web page in Vista? It
doesn't seem to work like XP did, which was quite straightforward.

Thanks for the reply. That was what I did on XP, which always worked. I
don't seen that option on the menu when I right click.

I'm not sure what is wrong since that option is available to me in Vista
Home premium. I'll check around on the web and see what I can find.

Yep, even works on ths page. Desktop icon brings up the entire thread
in a new tab. Vista Ultimate here.

I tried it again and it worked fine this time. Don't know what I was doing
wrong before. Thanks for the help. Sorry it took me so long to reply.
