Hi! as I fear having a os crash and the rescue floppy disk might fail.
I appreciate if someone can advise me on how to create a bootable os cd
(rescue cd).

I am running on Win.98se with Ricoh cd-rw 8x drive with Nero cd-burner.
I have copy the files from the rescue floppy & burn them onto the cdr.
It simply will not boot.

Pls advise.
Thanks in advance

This is right up your alley (I've done this, and it's a nice alternative to
a boot floppy): Go to www.bootdisk.com Get a Win98 boot disk image. Fire
up Nero. In the 'create new' dialogue, choose 'bootable CD'. In the
properties sheets of that dialogue, load the image that you downloaded.
Burn away...

Either:

Simple - Create a Win98SE Boot floppy and create a bootable CD with
Nero. (It's one of the wizard options)

Feature-packed - Create a very powerful rescue CD with free (and/or some
commercial) tools:
