"Or you can find a remote-hosted forum..."
I run a couple of these on Delphi Forums..you can set up a limited one for
free, or if you pay (not much) you can get the fancy stuff. Very very easy
to setup, and you can link it to your FP web, but you cannot match the look
of your FP web.
| You would be better going with a forum separate from anything Frontpage
can
| offer such as
www.phpbb.com or
www.yabb-forum.com All you need is a server
| that can run that particular script (be it ASP, PHP or Perl etc) that
allows
| such forums (due to the fact that if it is highly used, this will eat into
| the host's resources in terms of bandwidth - some place restrictsion on
the
| sorts of scripts you can run)
|
| from a provider that hosts the scripts
| and is dedicated to running these. Some are free (advertising on the
site)
| or pay-for (probably a few $ a month). Remote-hosted forums save you
| setting up the script to run yourself. You just sign up and pretty much
up
| and running immediately.
