I would like to create a page which would read a file on the Front Page
Server which would allow access to that file and it's contents for download.
This is so I could simply FTP an audio commercial to that File and it would
become readable and available for downoad.
I.E. go to my website at "www.address.com/spots "and have all the files on
that page avalable and printed for viewing and selection. Downloadable only..
Thanks for any suggestions

make the "folder" you intend to FTP the files into a "sub web". just right
click it and select "convert to sub web". this will keep the ftp-ing from
messing up your "real web".
you could then make sure there's no index file in that sub web and allow
folder browsing.

That'd be the simplest way.

there are also scripts and download manager type of applications that you
could use depending on what kind of server you're on.

HTH

BTW; some people use my script below to create an index of files (usually
PDFs) which they just make links to files they've uploaded through the
browser interface.
