I have some reports that needs to be email to customers
and they have to be in PDF format. Is there a way to
create a PDF file in Access 2k??

Thanks

XcelSoft,

Access doesn't include PDF as one of the native export formats. You
need to have a PDF writer. This is a programme that acts like a printer
driver. There are plenty around, cheap or free. I use PDF995 myself.
Then you can print the report to the PDF writer, which will output the
report to a .pdf file, and then you can attach this file to your email.

XcelSoft:

As Steve Schapel noted in his post, Access doesn't output PDF format in any
native method; you need to have a PDF Printer driver to support creating PDF
files. In addition to Adobe's drivers, you might look at PDF995, Win2PDF
(www.daneprairie.com), pdfFactory (www.fineprint.com), and others.

If you need to automate this, outputting files to PDF and then mailing them
you might look at our PDF and Mail Library for Access which you'll find on
our web.
