i have a command bar on a form i'll call 'Authorized Users'. it lets the user
use the file, edit, records, filter and help commands. i want to create a
slightly modified version of 'Authorized Users' i'll call 'Treament and
Toxicity' which will replace 'Authorized Users' on the form having the same
name and which will not let the user have access to the "Delete Record"
command available in 'Authorized Users'. i thought i'd try my hand at this,
after a long hiatus having lapsed since i created 'Authorized Users' and
while i managed to, i find that 'Treatment and Tocxicity' is only availabe as
a 'tool bar' and not as a 'menu bar' to me in the properties of the
'Treatment and Toxicity' form i'm trying to use it on. a message claiming
"The custom toolbar 'Treatment and Toxicity' is the wrong type (menu,
shortcut menu, or toolbar) for the property it's being used in". can someone
find the achillees' heel in what i'm trying to do?
