Creating a web page to email

What I want to do seems so simple. I want to create a simple web page with
some text and a couple of jpeg images. Then I want to send this page via
email so that when a user views the email they see the web page. I don't want
to send the page as an attachment. What I am doing now is creating the page
and then selecting it all, copying it, and then pasting it into the email
message. What I get is the page, correctly formated but with just images
holders for the pictures. How do I make the pictures stick to the formating.

any thoughts and assistance is appreciated.

Have you consider placing the page and images on the web, and then sending a hyperlink in the email
to the page?

HTML doesn't allow for external content (images, etc.) to be embedded in files, since the files are
basically text files.

publish the page up to the net, then you can use a <BASE HREF> tag in the
doc you're emailing. that way the pictures will show up.

Jim,

I can't tell from your posting if you want to email a web page to a few
people or to a lot of people.

If it's to a few people, you can use JumpKnowledge www.jkn.com -- the
world's first and only web-based "web page emailer" to email any web
page on the Internet, including framesets.

If you want to send to a lot of people, you can create a free account
at www.Deliverent.com, but only if your email list is fully opt-in.
Depending on your usage level, Deliverent is free to use. Otherwise
there may be a nominal fee.

You can also use Deliverent to create a "Send-to-friend" button for
your web site.

I am a representative of jkn/Deliverent, so you can ask me any
questions you may have.
