Creating a table of contents

If you have used Styles to create your document headings:

Create a page for your TOC with section breaks around
it. Position your cursor where you want the TOC to
appear. Click on Insert/Index and Tables (or
Insert/Reference/Index and Tables, depending on your
version of Word), choose the Table of Contents tab, then
click the Option button and make sure that the Style
names you used have the appropriate level number next to
them and click OK twice.
