Creating a shortcut to desktop properties/settings/advanced?

Looking for a way to quickly bring up the ATI control panel (found by
right-clicking on the Windows desktop, then selecting
properties/settings/advanced) without running a taskbar process/icon.
System has just 256 of RAM, so I am looking to keep the background
processes to a minimum.

been using CCC for a while now so mem is foggy but didnt the old cp version
of the drivers also make a program group like CCC does? If so there might be
a shortcut in it to go directly to the old cp and you could copy that scut
and paste a copy to desktop I think. Like I said tho its been a while since
I used it so I could be totally wrong.

Hi

MAke a shortcut on your desktop, I use the icon of the ati cube.
ATI_CUBE.ICO

add this commandline...

"D:\Program Files\ATI Technologies\ATI Control Panel\atiprbxx.exe" /a

of course your path may differ, and if you use the omega drivers you'll
need to point to the windows/system32/ for this file, folder I believe.
 
Bratboy and Gordon - thanks for the posts...Gordon's suggestion is
exactly what I was looking for - kudos! I'm using the cube icon too ;)

Are there other command parameters for this? I'm looking for a quick way
to display the Troubleshooting tab.

I'm sure that once-upon-a-time I knew how to directly run any Control
Panel applet and move to a tab within it. Just cannot remember it now
that I need it ;-(
