He guys,
Most of you have helped me in the past and so I've begun helping other
people with problems I run into. However, I am the one in the need of help
this time.
I have never made a component before, and right now it is critical.
I have to make a scsi device component for an LSI Logic Scsi Device. I have
tried the ones in the XPE repository but I got the notorious Stop 7B error
which I'm positive is the scsi controller.
I have opened component designer and created a new sld. I used the inf
importer to imort the inf for the device. I saved the sld then used
component database manager to import the sld. It said that all changes have
been committed and the Import Succeeded.
Now when I go to search for the device in TD, I get a serries of, cannot
find filename.cat, filename.sys etc in the following search paths. I'm
guessing I just forgot to actually include the files. How do I add them, is
there a way that all those files can be packaged into the LSI.sld?
In need of a little guidance. Thanks all for your help.

BTW does anyone have a lightweight way to post/read this newsgroup I can't
stand using this MS interface.
