I am attempting to network my computers. new one is
running XP the old is running windows 98. When i go
through the create a home network it finally prompts me to
create a network setup disk for my windows 98 computer. I
do not have a floppy drive, I have a sony memory stick
which is where windows attempts to create the network
setup disk. My other computer does not have a memory
stick so this wont help me. How do I create the setup
disk on a cd or is there a place I can download the files
to setup on my win 98 computer? thanks.

You can run the Network Setup Wizard from the Windows XP CD-ROM, as
shown here:

XP ICS - Starting the Network Setup Wizard

If you don't have an XP CD-ROM, copy this file from XP to a CD-R and
run it on the Win 98 computer::

C:\Windows\System32\Netsetup.exe
