creating a calendar/schedule in vb

I'm currently creating a system to be used by an Optometrist for the
term project. For this deliverable, only the user interface is required.
The system will connect to a MS Access Database.
I need to create a calendar to be able to schedule appointments for the
different employees. What classes can I use since I cannot find anything
in Windows Forms.
Where to begin?

You shoudl investiaget using Outlook as a front-end if possible, otherwise
there are a ton of these controls available from 3rd parties, such as
(random Google) http://www.componentgo.com/.
