creating a button that is assigned to a macro that can open documents

Can anyone help me find out how I write a macro in excel to effectively
open a specified document.

help would urgently be appreciated!!
 
Record a macro while you open this particular file and put it in the
personal macro workbook
Do view>toolbars>customize, drag a button to the toolbars and right click
and assign the macro you recorded
 
Peo. I had already suggested that to OP in the original thread. Guess
suggestion was rejected cuz new thread started. Probably just wants someone
to do the work vs learning.
