creating 56K and ISDN videos for the web

I have MM and just updated to MM2. I recently received an mpeg file which
plays beautifully on my computer (HP Media Center) and yet when I attempt to
convert and save as a 56K or ISDN video to post on a website, the video plays
very blurred as though the pixelation has changed. Any advice on how I can
save these files so that the pixelation stays like the original mpeg, but
converts in a streaming format for 56K users and ISDN users?

Thanks!
Lynn

The 56K and ISDN profiles are inherently lower quality than broadcast quality
MPEG

So there are couple of ways to share a higher quality video with your friends.

1) Burn your orginal file to a CD-R and snail-mail it.
2) Publish it using a higher bitrate profile (perhaps the 384K profile) and
have your friends "download" the file rather than "streaming" it. Sure it
will take longer to download than to play -- but the viewing experience will
be more wothwhile.
