I'm using NoteItem.SaveAs to create .oft template files from existing
NoteItems in my default Notes folder (Outlook 2003). When I use
Application.CreateItemFromTemplate to read the files and create new items
identical to those saved, The icons associated with the new NoteItems are
displayed in Outlook as white, even though their Color properties are
correct and their windows appear with the proper background color when the
items are opened via Outlook.
So, I'm looking for a way to preserve the icon during write and read or to
restore/refresh the icon once the new NoteItems have been recreated from
the template files. Of course, other solutions are welcome.
Thanks,
