Create Shortcut

Hi,

I am wanting my program to be able to create a shortcut. How is this done?
At the moment i have the shortcut created and copy it to the location i
need. This is a bit inflexable.

Do you mean a file shortcut (as opposed to for example a keyboard
shortcut)? If so, here's one way to do it
