I have a computer running XP Pro at home which works well using this
function. I also am working on a computer at work which is the same XP Pro
which seems to have problems envoking the Send To method of setting up a
short cut. The error message when trying to do so is "Disk is Full or Access
Denied. Can anyone advise where a setting might be found to change this
Access Denied problem. The disk is certainly not full. I am logged in as
administrator. I have looked everywhere for such an option but to no avail.
Your help would be most gratefully accepted.

Therefore you might look at the "Access Denied" portion of the
message.

You don't give us much to go on.

Which program? What's the exact command line? Can you run the same
thing successfully from a command prompt?

Sorry Stan - Rereading my post was a little on the skinny side. To expand -
even when using a Blank Desktop and right clicking on an existing icon which
brings up the menu including the "Send to - (as shortcut)" Option the program
fails when trying to create the new shortcut. It doesn't seem to matter where
you try to set up the short cut from - as soon as it tries to write the
record for the new shortcut the error message is given. There are two
computers linked and the same problem occurs on both.

Thanks again
