Hi,
long time ago i asked informations on creating sdf (sqlserverce db files) on
desktops pc...
I am close to the delivery time for my application and i need to clarify
this to finish my app.
Seems that in MS people thinks that the need to put data into a device with
a simple filecopy is absurd... and that the path:
(msde/sqlserver)->(IIS)->(sscesa.dll)->(http)->(rda.pull)->(sqlserverce)
is the cleanest, safest, and SHORTEST... and obviously the exception-safe
one... (i am not even capable of thinking to how many things can go wrong or
crash in that process)... while i feel safer if i can save a dataset or
similar into an sdf file on a desktop and than do a simple filecopy... but
everyone has his own ideas!
Is Microsoft working on this?
Is there any information about the progress in this functionality?
Regards,
mdm.
