Vista Business in a Windows 2003 AD domain. Server and workstations all have
the latest service packs and patches.
Here's the problem description:
I use Vista to browse a shared network folder located at my 2003 server,
let's call it \\machinename\folder1\folder2. Then I create a new subfolder
in folder2. Problem is I can't see the new folder. To see the newly created
folder, I have to either click other folder then back to folder2 or hit F5
to refesh.
On the other hand, things work normally if I map the shared folder to a
drive letter. In other words, if I map F: to \\machinename\folder1, and
create a new subfolder in folder2 and the new folder shows up and
highlighted.
Anyone seen this problem? How can I fix this?
