Is there a way to prevent creating a duplicate contact when I drag an e-mail
into my contacts folder to add them to my database?

When I right click on the e-mail message, the window that appears does not
give me the option to 'add to contacts'? Also the reason why I like to
drag
is that I want to add the contact to my public folders and by dragging I
can
just direct it to the appropriate address book, instead of it defaulting
to
my personal address book.

address and see if you get prompted when you add a duplicate.

will only apply to your default Contacts Folder and only when the Outlook
