I need to take "Global Address" Distribution Lists and convert them into
invidiual e-mail addresses to use for an e-vite. Is there an easy way to do
this?

Why? Why not send your "e-vite" (whatever that is) to the DL?

The distribution lists are not available on-line to send an e-vite.

You said they're in the GAL. That should always be available. How would you
send any messages to anyone in the GAL if it's not available?

Saving as a text file or hitting forward and opening the text file is not an
option given.

Sure. Save as text file or hit forward and open the text file.

What version of outlook? This will work in 2003 and 2007:
Start a message, add the GAL DL and expand it.
Copy the addresses, paste them into an outlook dl form. (see
http://www.slipstick.com/tutorials/create/dl.asp - Create DL part)
Now you can do the forward or save as trick to get the email addresses into
a text file.

Correct! Sorry!

I think she means she's using an e-vite service, not a meeting request in
outlook.
http://www.slipstick.com/Tutorials/dl/dl.asp shows how to do it.

I tried that. The only thing shows up is the name and not the e-mail address.

Are the names in the GAL? If so, they will resolve to the addresses.
See http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/printdl.htm for a video of the steps.
