I created a form based on a query that connects two tables. One table
captures data from the user. The other is a reference table that lists
document section numbers and associated section titles. When someone enters a
section number in a field on my form, the associated section title is
displayed in the next field. This enables data entry people to make sure they
entered the section code they meant to. Great. Now I want to prevent people
from editing the section title text that appears. (If the text is wrong, I
want the data entry people to change the section code in the previous field,
not edit the section title text). How can I make a field on an Access form
display-only?
