How do i set up response categories for my questionaire in microsoft access
program? I have made two tables for pre & post questionaire but i am
struggling with how to create response categories for respondents answers. It
may not be possible. Help!!!!

What are "response categories"? How are your tables structured? Have you
normalized your tables or is each question a field in your table?

each question or comment is a field in my table. logically, i could just plug
in each response to the question in the appropriate field. each respondent
has an identifiying number. what does it mean to normalize tables?

There is a sample/demo of a normalized survey/questionaire "At Your Survey"
available for download at
http://www.rogersaccesslibrary.com/OtherLibraries.asp#Hookom,Duane.

At Your Survey allows you to create, edit, and report survey information
generally without modifying a table, form, query, or report. Questions and
responses are records in tables rather than fields of records.

To find out more information on normalization and table structures, check

thank you.
