This seems like a real dumb question but I have never had to PDF anything. I have a DWG drawing that I want to convert to PDF. I have Acrobat 5 Reader. Please, help...

You should be asking this in the AutoDesk news group, but since I'm here and
your here: You need to create a new .pc3 print file with the acrobat
distiller in AutoCAD and then use it to plot. It will ask you for a location
to print to.

To convert any document to .pdf format, you need the full blown program
(Acrobat), not the "free" reader! Go to
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/main.html and read about the program.

Jason,

Do a search on Google for "PDF995."

I use it all the time, download it free with ads or pay about $10 to
register it without ads.

It works as good or better than $400 programs from Adobe.
