When you click to enlarge thumbnails, they leave my
black themed page, and enlargement appears in windows
picture and fax viewer. The text and theme are left
behind. This happen in edit, preview and browser. I want
the enlargement to appear right where it's thumbnail is,
or on a new page, with the theme and text that appeared
below it's thumbnail. My method is as follows:

1. select theme
2. create naviagation structure
3. in page view on new page, insert table
4. enter text and Image(500 pixel width) in seperate cells
5. auto thumbnail
6. center image thumbnail in cell
7. Save, Clk OK to save imbedded files
8. repeat steps 4 through 7 until table is full (8-12
images)
9. loose borders (set border width to 0)

When you use the thumbnail function, it just create a link to the large
image, not a page, which is required do what you want.

Also all images should be imported into your current open FP web prior to
being used within the web, so that you are never prompted to save embedded
images. After you have create your thumbnails, you would then create a new
page for each of the large images, then change the link from the thumbnail
to point to the page with the large image, instead of directly to the large
image.

Thank you Mr.Rowe for your help. Where in the
navigational structure should I create the new pages
which will show my enlarged thumbnails and text? Also,
once I apply your suggestions, is my procedure (above)
otherwise correct? Thank you. E

My method is as follows:
1. select theme

7. Save, Clk OK to save imbedded files

A. Import all images into your current open FP web first.
B. I would recommend that you create your thumbnail image in a image
application and import them into the web with the large versions. Then you
can insert the thumbnails into your table layout and build your individual
pages to display the large images. You really don't have to add the large
image pages to your navigation unless you want to.

of 56 formated images, created and named a test page for
an enlargement, and changed the destination of the
original thumbnail. I did not put the new page in the
navigation structure. Works great. I want internal
hyperlinks (no banner) from all the enlargement pages
back into the web pages. Best way? create shared border
to contain hyperlinks, or create new pages in Navigation
structure, other...? I'm a novice, (got 1st computer in

I would create a back link (text or image) back to the original page with
the smaller images.

The code for your link would be:

javascript:history.back();
