create a to do list in office2000

Tasks is the best way to do this. Please elaborate on the complexity of the
task you are looking to create. There are several add-ins that make task
creation easier than Outlook's inbuilt method. One that comes to mind is
Taskline, http://www.taskline.info for one.

I looked the TaskLine over and it might be an answer.. I was just trying to
find a way to keep a to do list in Outlook that I can update and scratch off
as done, but have it pop up to remind me of my plans.. THe reminders are
annoying littl cusses that pop up when yo least need them..
I may do a trial of the Task line to see if I can configure a easy to use
reminder list of things to do, or should I say , things that need to get
done..
