Is it possible to create a rule that will automatically forward a new
appointment when it is created to a specific email address? For example: When
I create an appointment in Outlook 2003 at my office I want a want a rule
that would automatically forward the aappointment to my personal email
address so that I can save it to my personal calendar at home in Outlook
2007. I currently do this manually and would like to automate the process.

Thank you

You'll need to write code for that (if it's even possible). A rule can't do
it.

Additionally to what Brian said, rules only work on mail items.
