Can someone tell me where to find the "Create a restore
point" throught the Windows?microsoft Support center? I
nned help desperately.

Thank you for any assistance.

Hi Terry,

If you open the System Restore window there is an option to create a restore
point at the bottom right of the screen. I can't tell you where System
Restore is on your Start menu because I have changed my All Programs and my
setup wouldn't help you.

It is not at the bottom of the screen. It is toward the top of the screen
right below the restore option.

I apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

If you haven't found it yet run Help and Support and
search 'system restore' (w/o quotation marks). The
command to run the wizard should be somewhere in the menu
on the left side of the screen.

Here's what worked for me: Restart your computer and immediately begin pressing the F8 key a bunch of times during the reboot until you come to the "Safe Mode" menu. One of the options on the safe mode menu references "Restoring To The Last Known Good Configuration" which is somewhere in the middle of the screen and you can just arrow down to it. Now after doing this I had to go back and reinstall some Windows updates that were un-done during the restore. My computer works great now. I haven't had any issues with a slow response. Hope this helps.
