Hello,

Did you ever figure out how to duplicate a contact's record. I'm just
starting out with BCM and am looking for same answer.

There are a number of ways to do this:
1.) Export the contacts you like, then import and allow duplicates.
2.) Copy the Business Contact to an Outlook Contacts folder, then move it
back to the Business Contacts folder

Seems like alot of work. I'm on a contact and want to create a new contact
with all the same information but his name and e-mail. In every other
contact manager (ACT, GoldMine, etc.), they make it very easy to do this by
just copying the contact I'm on and then changing whats different.

Outlook 2007:
If it is a personal contact: from the contact list, click the contact
then ctrl+c then ctrl+v
Or you could hold the ctrl button and drag the contact to the contact
folder.
Or click the "Office Button" >> Move >> Copy to folder.

You can also use the methods losted above to move/copy contacts
between business and personal contacts.

However (in my installation), this method doesnt work to copy a
business contact to a duplicate business contact. (I get an message
saying "..the service provider does not support it." Not sure what
this means.).

But you can create a duplicate business contact by copying it to the
personl contact folder and then copying it back to the business
contact folder.
