Create a hyperlink in Access Table to Word Doc 2007

In 2003 I could create a link in Access Table to a Word Document giving
reader more information. Was very simple in 2003 - chose Data type Hyperlink
and then Insert, Hyperlink and navigated to the correct document.

I have tried various things but can't seem to get anything to work - can you
please help.

Specify the data type as "hyperlink" in design view.
When you are back in data view - right click on the field you want to
populate and select the hyperlink option.
