Create a form for data entry

As the subject heading states, all i am trying to do is create a form to
speed-up and simplify the input of data into a number of Tables that i have
already created. I dont seem to be able to get out of the starting blocks!
All the help topics i find detail using forms to EXTRACT data from the Tables
& Queries, but not how to INPUT data. I am using Access 2000, is this a
problem?

If anyone can help me, i would be very gratefull.

Create a query against that table. Include the fields you'd like to be
inputting.

Create a form, based on the query.

(You can use the wizards to help you create them.)
