I am new with Access. How do I create a drop down list for a form? Supposedly there is a wizard, but I can't find it
Thanks in advance.

It's called a ComboBox. In Form design view it's approximately the 9th or 10th
control listed on the ToolBox bar. Having the second button on that same bar
depressed (the magic wand) before dropping the ComboBox onto your form will
cause the wizard to come up.

In Form Design View, click on the Toolbox tool button.
Depress the Wand button (in the toolbox). Click on and drag the Combo
box control onto the form. The command button will start.

It is the Wand that controls whether the wizard will go to work (or
take the day off).

First, create a table with the items you want to select
within your "drop down list". This table might contain
only one column with various "text" or "numeric" values,
etc. With your form in design view, click and drag from
the toolbar menu "combo box" to the form. The Combo Box
Wizard will open, click on "I want the combo box to look
up the values in a table or query", click on next and
follow the wizard. I hope this helps, as I have a ton
of "look up" forms.
