I would like to have a virtual directory with a page that
only contains Folders by Day and in these folders are the
days scanned documents. This site needs to be user
friendly almost like a pictures web site with windows for
the months, then when you click the month it will list
the days within that month, and then present you with a
list of invoices for that particular day. And ideas

A database drive site would handle this.

You clearly need the assistance of a web developer to help you plan and
develop the application. Simply explaing you need a database is like telling
somebody who asks how to drive across town that they need to use a motor
vehicle. Furthermore, while you do have a good grasp of explaining your
objective there is a lot more involved in designing the actual software
processes for production, managament and maintenance. Just look at the
current state of your own local file system or that of your Favorites
folder(s). Messy eh ;-)

I have a few other sites, but they require membership/login access to get to the documents.
