To look at the account linked to a task form, I need t click the "Link to
record" button" and double click on the accounts available.
Can I have a button or combo box on the ribbon of the selected task form,
which would directly open the account form?

Is there an option to do it programatically, using VBA or VSTO? Can you think
of a work around?

There isn't an option to add it to the feature , it might be available in
upcoming version

I'm not aware of any workaround but I would suggest that you send a post to
newsgroup called microsoft.public.outlook.bcm.developers
