Create a boot disk on CD

I have a laptop with WinNT which is all messed up. I want to upgrade to
Win2000. I have a CD drive but no floppy drive. How can I create a boot disk
on a CD so I can reformat the drive and then install 2000? The CD drive on
the laptop is not a burner, but I have a CD burner on another XP computer.
Can anyone help? Thanks.
 
You don't need to create W2k setup diskettes if you can boot from CD.
The W2k CD is bootable.
Set the CD drive as top BIOS option for boot.
The install process allows you to delete/create/format etc partitions.

The windows 2000 CD is bootable and you will be able to format the drive
when you boot with the CD. You don't need boot diskettes for this.
