I have a Windows XP Embedded OS installed with ewf Disabled...
The PC is used for supervisor system and is frequently turned off by
loss of power and is controlled (when is on :) ) from remote control.

I frequently find file moved from a location on HD to another.. for
example today I found the arp.exe and boot.ini !!! on desktop (files are
miss on correct folder). I found lot of randomized shortcut create on
desktop!!!.

Why? is a kown bug?

Sorry for my English.
Best regards
Leonardo

Any XPE system with EWF disabled is going to suffer the same corruption
types as XP Pro when not doing a controlled shutdown. I hadn't personally
seen file relocation as a symptom of that corruption.

With errors like that, I'd be looking for the error between a keyboard
and a chair somewhere...
