Crazy mouse!

Often it happens that my mouse pointer runs quickly at one of the corners of
the screen, without my control.
Does anyone know why it happens?

I have the same prob. What mouse are you using? I do not think there is much
to do apart buying a new and better mouse!

I have got wireless mouse and keyboad from Microsoft. It sucks!!

Is a Logitech optical usb mouse... not so bad...
Fabrizio is an italian name... aren't you?

Anche perchè se uno straniero si chiama Fabrizio, o i genitori sono
italiani, oppure hanno buon gusto per la scelta del nome ;-)!!!!

change a mouse pad, use one with only 1 colour. I have that problem with
colourful mouse pads.
 
Are you using a laser mouse? When I first got my laser
mouse it was doing the same thing as you describe. The
solution turned out to be very simple...get rid of your
mouse pad! I just use it on the bare desk surface and no
more problems. It seems the mouse pad I was using had a
fairly rigid surface with tiny grooves in it that made
the laser beneath the mouse go awry. Hope that's all it
is.

I know of a small trojan that does this automatically.
Look in task manager for any programs that are running illegally
