Crazy font issue

I'll try to explain this clearly...

I have all my fonts on my computer set to Tahoma 12 Navy
as default. When I draft an email (in both Outlook Express
and Outlook) the fonts correctly display my default
choices. However, the recipients of my email do not
receive an email with Tahoma 12 Navy font, they receive
Times New Roman 12 Navy.

I have been all through the options in OE and Outlook
trying to find a smoking gun setting but so far I have
been unsuccessful. I'm thinking it has to be a Windows
setting because it happens in both programs.

I can't figure out for the life of me what is causing
this. Please give me some ideas.

.
I fixed it.

I had to nuke the identity in OE and recreate it to fix
the OE sending problem.

To fix Outlook, I set the email to send in rich text
instead of HTML.
