Ok well every game I have tried to paly oon my computer abotu after 30 mins it will jsut freeze.. I have gotten a few ideas of what it could be from friends but I want to see what you guys think.. Oh and I even tried it in full screen and nothing else running and it still crashes after awhile.. So I don't know what to do. Thanks.

:'( Two of my friends said it is prolly the fan and the CPU is over heating.. Eh but thanks for the help lol

i doubt it is the fan thats overheating.

If it is not the CPU thats overheating, shoving a new fan on it wont make things any faster.

Have you tried defragmenting your system?

More than likely its your processor overheating. After it crashes go to the bios and see what the temparature of the processor is.

Does it only crash while playing games? If so, Does it crash on all games?

Try playing with the side of your case off, see what happens.

Stop playing games. Throw your computer from a 20 storey building.

Then take up healthy outdoor activities and sports, such as the Triathalon. Try to engage in these activities when it is especially cold and miserable, it will do you good. It will build character. It will make you a man.

Don't drink Coca-Cola. Eat lots of lettuce and horse radishes. This will give you keen insight into the World's problems. Be prepared to vote. Celebrate your freedom yet control your inner urges and only wear comfortable clothes.

You know it makes sense.

Definitely sounds like overheating. Get yourself some temp monitoring software, such as Motherboard Monitor or check your motherboard CD for hardware monitoring software. Do as reefy says and take the side off your case. Run Prime 95 and see if it crashes. Also, set up a desktop fan and have it blow into the side of your case (with side off) when you play games, that'll keep it cool. If it no crash, things is too hot, consider a new CPU cooler.

If it still crash, consider a fresh install or even a new machine.

This advice, given in all sincerity, courtesy the Balham thought police.

Time for my meds now, I think.

lol.. I'm sorry but I don't know of any 20 story buildign that they will let me drop this from.. But yeah I'll try some of your ideas thanks again >.>

lol very very nice

what did u forget flops? always remember to drink at least 2 litres of water a day, which will help maintain very nice skin!

Well, without a hardware list of what you’re using my first bet would be a driver problem. Can you tell us what you’re using? If not download http://www.softpedia.com/public/cat/13/5/13-5-159.shtmlEverest it will give you all the information we need. Don't leave out the obvious like PSU.

Computer freezing is not an easy problem to solve, with no error message generated it can be quite frustrating to resolve.

:(

taking the side off your case won't make all that difference to the temp of your CPU, i still recommend taking the side off your case but only to check that all fans are spinning.
