Crashes When Trying to Print

If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

I am trying to print Notes Pages. Every time I do,
Powerpoint crashes and sends a report to Microsoft. I
have tried renaming the file, shutting down my computer...
and every time I go look for updates it tells me there are
none. I am running Powerpoint 2002 on a Windows 2000
machine. There are updates for XP and 2000 but nothing on
2002. I tried downloading the service packs for both
version but neither will install.

Are you printing to a networked printer?

Do you have a printer locally installed?

Thanks for the website, I am checking it out. As for
answers to your questions:

Install a local printer. PowerPoint uses this printer for rendering some
graphics (just a guess as to the reason, but a good one).

If you install a local printer (even if the printer is then removed from the
system), your problems should go away.

XP is 2002, CB. But I suspect B's on the right track with the printer
driver...
