Crashes on any Windows update sites

I just did a Windows XP Service Pack 1 repair install and now can't get on
Windows update sites...Internet Explorer just crashes. It works ok on all
other sites. Thanks for any help.

associated with the download/install.

OK, realised that I didn't have SP1 installed. Took awhile to find the
download (had to us" download from non-Microsoft browser"), got that
installed and then had to turn on the auto downloads and presto!
