Hi,

What are the "various BCP codes"?
What type of drive does Device Manager indicate as faulty?

hi rick here goes..bc code24 bcp1:001902fa bcp2:f7adoab4
bcp3:f7ado7b4 bcp4:804e63d4 osver:5-1-2600 sp:1-0 product
768-1 Always says it has recovered from serious error when
its re booted.device man just says a device drive..cant
find anything obvious..can be fine for days,so think its
ok then it goes again!!!

Hi,

If it's on-again/off-again, then the problem may be faulty hardware. I can
find no specific reference for WinXP on the error code, but on other NT
systems it's related to a hardware fault. You may need to bring the system
to a shop for testing unless you have spare known-good parts lying around
you can use to try and isolate it.
