yeah my cpu is always loud for a while it didnt used to
do this but now it does my cpu usage is only about6
percent but it makes a noise that annoys me, i disabled
all hte programs via msconfig except 4 my antivirus
(syamntec client security) and i dont play games or any
thing so what is up?
windows xp pro
40 gb hd

Your CPU is loud...

That likely has nothing to do with the OS, sounds more like a fan gone bad.
Open it up and locate the defective FAN.

dont think its the pcu probably your hard drive if its

clicking.might have a screw loose.
 
Most likely, you have a fan going bad, CPU's don't make noise. Since the PC
is only 8 months old, contact the vender and have it fixed under warranty.
