cpu

My cpu is constantly running at about 100% every couple
of seconds. Even if I have no applications running. Is
there something in the background hogging up my cpu.

uncheck your indexing service...
open 'my computer' , right click the c drive and go to
properties, remove the 2 checkmarks, apply and OK.
